Finding God in the Midst of the Flames
We love reading Jeremiah 29:11, about God’s plans for us; plans for GOOD and not for EVIL. What many don’t realize, however, is these words were written in a letter to a group of captives just after being savagely ripped from their homes and taken to a strange and evil land. This group cried out for deliverance, but instead of carrying out a dramatic rescue, the Lord told them to ease up, chill out, settle in and make the most of it.

If you can feel your spirit slowly dying, I implore you to make a change. A change of scenery, a change of friends, a change of music, whatever. Whether it’s online or in your community, seek out crazy, like-minded individuals who lift you up and not tear you down. Whatever it takes for you to keep chasing your dream, do it. Never give in, never give up, never surrender.
