My Family of Warriors
I come from a long line of warriors, determined to fight the agony of that darkness which seeks to devour our entire existence, until God gives us permission to lay down our weapons. Quitting is not an option. We've slowed down, sure, but we won't stop. For you see, victory is the only dream worth pursuing.

An Impossible Tale of Heartbreak and Love
Don’t let anyone tell you something is hopeless. My God is the God of the impossible, and loves to prove it to us every now and again. Simply because He can.

One Day, When War Is No More
Most days offer anything but peace. One day, however, all the misery, pain, depression, anxiety, worry, fear and sleepless nights will be over. One day, we will have true peace, when God has permanently established His kingdom, forever to live with His people. All fighting between nations will end; never again will anyone train for battle because war itself will be abolished. Now THAT’S peace, and it’s coming.

“We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes”
I went through a period of a few months when I literally felt I was going insane, simply because of pain and its residual effects. I’d love to tell you I’ve found some magical cure or pill for this problem. I haven’t. All I have is a stubborn resolve to never give up.

Yeah, I’ve Been Angry With God
The Lord hasn’t turned His back on you for being angry at Him. Being mad at God is natural, and most—if not all—of Heaven’s most successful warriors have experienced it. I walked in livid anger toward God for many years as my chronic pain grew steadily worse. I was furious at my lack of healing, and didn’t even want others to pray for me. But we must work through our anger, and begin to trust the only One who can instill the peace we so desperately seek.

We Often Suffer, But Are Never Crushed
One of the many things I've learned is I'm stronger than I ever give myself credit for. We must accept the fact that our current adversity may slow us down but it'll never stop us. As Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

You’re a Candle in the Dark
People are literally dying of loneliness, and we have the (super)power of love and laughter on our side. Even a quick visit, note or phone call, just to let someone know you’re thinking about them, can make a colossal difference. There is a great chance you’ll be a flicker of light in an otherwise bleak day. After all, a candle doesn’t seem to give off much light until you carry it into the pitch of black, right?

Don’t Let Pain Turn Your Heart to Stone
God's intention is not for agony to transform our heart to stone. Life is a beautiful thing, just waiting to be discovered. We need to stop playing the victim, and try and serve others, instead of demanding to be served, and heard. If you've let your struggles make you so self-absorbed you have no time to comfort others, you're long overdue for a change.
