Jesus said, “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my true followers.” (John 13:34-35)
God, help me love people as if my life depends on it.
Help me to love those who don’t see things as I do.
May I be quick, fast and free with hugs, as my grandchildren are.
When things get dark in my head, help me hold on to love with all I am; both love for You and for others.
Grant me the strength to love those who hate me.
Let Your light shine through me so brightly that I have no choice but to love.
Chase away the fear.
Eradicate the bitterness.
Dispel all the ugliness in my spirit.
Fill me up with so much light, there’s no room left for darkness.
Allow me to be quick to love and slow to anger.
Help me to express love to others.
May they see how much You love them by looking into my eyes, Jesus.
I pray You give me a smidgen of the love You have for people.
Let people get lost in Your love, as displayed by me and my family.
I ask You to give us all the kind of love my grandkids have. May I get lost in a hug, as they do.
I wanna love others, Lord. Just love, that’s all.
Conviction & judgment are in Your hands, not mine.
My job is to love people, God. Just love, that’s all.
Just love.
