Don’t Embrace Misery – Rage Against It!
There are days my pain is so relentless I don’t even want to get outta bed. For many of us, there’s no escaping our prison of pain. So what do we do? The answers to that are many-fold, but one thing I DO know: We cannot EMBRACE our misery; we must rage against it!

Those Thundering Songs Which Define Me
Being an artistic soul, and having gone through so much pain, sorrow, anger and depression, I have a short list of songs which thunder in my spirit. At times a lost child and at other times a blood-drenched soldier, these anthems make up the DNA of my warrior soul.

That “Kill Me Now, Lord” Prayer
Man, life is a fantastic journey, to be certain, but sometimes the darkness seems too heavy a burden to bear. You feel you can't make it through another day, and yet you do. How many times have you prayed the same prayer, but to no avail? You are stronger than you think, and God has placed within you the strength and resolve to make it through anything this life can throw at you.

My Children are my Heroes – Part 1: Jess
My daughter went from the gifted program and graduating high school early to drug abuse, only to fight her way back, graduate at the top of her nursing class and get a job with hospice. Her message to all the young girls who find themselves in the same position she was? “You CAN make a life for yourself, by putting one foot in front of the other, walking the path God has for your life. It’s your choice. All of life is based on choices, and it’s time to start making the right ones.”

My Family of Warriors
I come from a long line of warriors, determined to fight the agony of that darkness which seeks to devour our entire existence, until God gives us permission to lay down our weapons. Quitting is not an option. We've slowed down, sure, but we won't stop. For you see, victory is the only dream worth pursuing.
