Don’t stay dormant and stew in your midnight-haunting regret. It is imperative you move on. Take a lesson from our family motto (of which my daughter and I both have tattoos): "No fear of the future, no regrets of the past."
We love reading Jeremiah 29:11, about God’s plans for us; plans for GOOD and not for EVIL. What many don’t realize, however, is these words were written in a letter to a group of captives just after being savagely ripped from their homes and taken to a strange and evil land. This group cried out for deliverance, but instead of carrying out a dramatic rescue, the Lord told them to ease up, chill out, settle in and make the most of it.
