Letter From Heaven

“Greetings! First let me assure you I am fine. ‘Fine.’ Ha! More than fine. Human words cannot describe how I am, but I must make this quick. God allowed me to write this brief note to reassure you, so I won’t spend it trying to describe beauty your mind can’t yet comprehend.

“I know your spirit is a torrent of emotions, most of which is grief, sadness and loss. While we here are impervious to such, I am so sorry you have to experience them, loved one!

“My human death haunts you night and day, does it not? Poor lamb. Let me ask you: when there is a pebble in your shoe, do you not remove it and move on? Once it is removed, it’s forgotten. Barely a bump in the road.

“That is all my bodily death was. The pebble has been removed and now I am free.

“The shadows in my brain have been extinguished by Heaven’s unextinguishable light! The diseases which ravaged my bones and muscles are not even a memory. I AM FREE!

“My spirit is a bright light of purity and happiness, and I am at play in the fields of the Lord. I am younger, stronger and happier than you can fathom. I can run faster, jump higher and laugh harder than you’d ever know. You’d barely recognize me, loved one.

“I have a large cabin in the mountains, near other family members who have gone on before you, but I’m not there much. I mostly busy myself with Grandpa and the other workers in the building crew…

“Preparing your home.

“You wouldn’t believe its beauty! Gold, rubies, diamonds and many precious gems unknown to Earth. It’s nestled in the upper hills, just a hop, skip and a jump from my place.

“Thus, I anxiously await your arrival! While those of us who stroll the green hills of Beulah Land are untouched by pain, I was told of the strife, heartache and suffering you face. Let me assure you, however, that all your agony and tears are temporary!

“Soon it will all be over and we will be reunited once again. Oh how I long for that day! Until then, busy yourself with God’s work, and the pain will all be over before you know it.

“Let me say, I love you.

“I love you so much, and Jesus does as well. He and I can’t wait for our grand reunion with you and the rest of the family.

“So don’t give up. NEVER GIVE UP!!!

“We love you and will see you soon.

“Forever yours…”
