Good riddance to you. ER, sorry: GOOD DAY.
I’d like to tell you straight up: I don’t have a doctorate in Psychology and don’t pretend to have the answers. I’m a nearly-50-year-old, Midwestern metal-head who lives in chronic pain and struggles with depression (mostly because of the pain). I’m just trying to make sense of life, man, and happen to have been given the gift of being able to put my thoughts down in writing.
Whether that’s a good or a bad thing will be up to you.
I am a Christian, and am not ashamed of it, but also don’t feel the need to say “Jesus” in every line I write. Thus, I’m too pure for some heathens and too heathenistic for some puritans.
That’s cool, I’m still gonna do my thing: try to wade through the beauty and the blessings of this life without slipping off the deep end.
So, like that little, creepy chick on “Poltergeist” says: “Welcome, welcome, all are welcome.”
