"It's gonna be a tough road, for sure, but you can handle it. Nobody will think to tell you this, but you're much tougher than what you give yourself credit for.
Yeah, there'll be setbacks, disappointments and pain, but overall, you're in for a wild ride, kid."
We love reading Jeremiah 29:11, about God’s plans for us; plans for GOOD and not for EVIL. What many don’t realize, however, is these words were written in a letter to a group of captives just after being savagely ripped from their homes and taken to a strange and evil land. This group cried out for deliverance, but instead of carrying out a dramatic rescue, the Lord told them to ease up, chill out, settle in and make the most of it.
If you can feel your spirit slowly dying, I implore you to make a change. A change of scenery, a change of friends, a change of music, whatever. Whether it’s online or in your community, seek out crazy, like-minded individuals who lift you up and not tear you down. Whatever it takes for you to keep chasing your dream, do it.
Never give in, never give up, never surrender.
You may not think too highly of yourself but God sees what you can be and not what you are. If you can grab hold of that, and then begin to seek His will for your life, it'll absolutely rock your world. Don't settle for second best. You're better than that. God believes in you and so do I.
There are days my pain is so relentless I don’t even want to get outta bed. For many of us, there’s no escaping our prison of pain. So what do we do? The answers to that are many-fold, but one thing I DO know: We cannot EMBRACE our misery; we must rage against it!
I was once lost and now I'm found. There was a point in my life when I was terrified, like I was in this dream, wandering aimlessly through life and not finding anyone to help me. Trudging through the darkness, with no ray of hope, and finding no friendly faces.
